The Treasurer is responsible for invoicing fees. At the end of the first week of each half term you will advised in writing as to how much is due for your child’s placement. This includes a breakdown in hours, funding (if applicable) and costs for all session fees. This invoice also advises when the payment is due.
Payments can be made by cheque, childcare vouchers or preferably by an electronic bank to bank transfer (BACS). Please ensure cheques are made payable to Gamlingay Rainbow Pre-School. If paying via an electronic bank transfer, please ensure your child’s name or invoice number appears in the reference field. Please put your Cheque payment into an envelope and give to a member of staff in Rainbow. This will be passed on to the treasurer.
Fees are reviewed annually at the AGM and parents/carers will be notified of any changes in writing. We aim to keep our fees competitive and as low as possible.
Fees must be paid even if your child is sick or on holiday. The only exception being if your child is hospitalised.
Failure to pay the pre-school fees gives Rainbow the right to exclude your child until fees are met in full.
The pre-school requires half a terms notice should you wish to withdraw your child from sessions on a permanent basis. Failure to do this will result in you having to pay the fees for that half term, as we will be unable to fill your child’s place at short notice.
Currently, your child is entitled to Government Funding the term after he/she is three years old. The appropriate claim form will be given out by staff once your child is eligible. These forms have to be completed once a term to receive the funding. Should you wish to know more please ask a member of staff.
